Re: Reasonable Harpists?
I consider $300 or under for an hour 1/2 to be reasonable.
Oh and....I didn't post under vendors because I want suggestions from Brides-to-be as to who they like and are working with!

Re: Reasonable Harpists?
I think she is $300 for the hour but I really don't know. Her name is Ms. Jean Goldstein (516) 798-8687. She has a 36 string classical harp. She is a vendor at the Crest Hollow - that is how I got her name.
Hope the helps!
Is this for the ceremony?

Re: Reasonable Harpists?
I'm using Janet King for my cocktail hour. She's SO pleasant and nice to work with. I can't quote a price, though, since I'm having a duo of harp and flute, so it's more expensive for me. But I can tell you that for BOTH of them, it's a lot less than I thought it would be. Give her a call and see what she says.

Re: Reasonable Harpists?
Janet King played at our ceremony. I didn't really like her too much. I enjoyed speaking with her over the phone, but about 2 weeks before the wedding she was really nasty to me. The day of the wedding I never spoke to her or anything... she wasn't even nice to DH... My advice... find a different harpist
