Receiving e-mails that mention LIWEDDINGS

I have been getting numerous e-mails in my personal e-mail specifically saying 'speciall offer for LIWeddings.com brides' Has anyone else been getting this and how can I avoid it??? I am getting annoyed
Not only is it flooding my e-mail in box but it is also passing me over the limit I have with yahoo.

I have to..mail, e-mails and phone calls.. it was right after I had signed up for some honeymoon drawing thing on the lisite....last time I do that! I don't know how to get my e-mail address off!!

Same thing happened to me after I signed up for some LIWeddings contest. My email mailbox was filling up all the time with vendors. I sent LIWeddings an email through the help button, and it was taken care of in like 2 days. I still get junk mail through snail mail, but who cares, not my stamp!! I have only gotten a couple of phone calls, and when I tell them I booked my vendors already, that's the last call I get!! Definitely let LIWeddings know to take you off their list - they did it for me and quickly!

thanks ladies I sent a forum mail to LIWeddings and they have asked me to send them a copy of what I received. I did register for a contest also sometime last week. That must be the reason why I am getting these things. I don't mind snail mail either.
so who is going to win this contest?!?!?!?

If you register to 'win' just remember that almost always means 'new junk mail' in some form. I never enter contest or attend bridal show just for that reason.

I think if you go to 'MY Account' there is a box that you need to UNCHECK...for email promotions...

I have gotten bombarded! Sometimes 3 or 4 phonecalls a night. Plus this morning I had 7 emails from vendors. I also registered for the $1,000 savings bond contest. I guess they sold our names....I'll send an email to LI Weddings as well.

I sent an e-mail to them yesterday I think. Very busy at work my mind is all over the place!! Anyway I haven't checked my e-mail in a couple of days. I hope I don't have 20+ when I see my inbox tonight!
