Your friend has a lot of choices. I would highly suggest she do as much research as possible and spend a couple of days visiting various halls.

my FH and I did a lot of online research and narrowed it down by what we could afford and went from there.

We spent about 3 weekends visiting catering halls before picking Jericho Terrace.

Caffe on the Green had been my first choice! Their food is amazing! But price wise, Westbury Manor gave a good price and we're having a Saturday afternoon wedding

Almost all the halls I looked at were in that price range!
Sunday nights rock!
I'm getting married at the Thatched Cottage in 26 (Aaahhh) days!
I love it, and it falls right in her range.
All the places mentioned here are in her range.
