Reception Hall Madness

Reception Hall Madness

Hi everyone! I just got engaged while on vacation in San Diego on September 19th and now its time to find the perfect hall. I'm looking to get married in August 2007 and would love your recommendations. We should have around 150 guests and I'm looking to pay around $100 per person. Its gong to be a summer wedding so I'd like an outdoorsy place with nice gardens and/or water view. Also, I'm looking in Nassau County but won't rule out Suffolk.

TIA
Natalie

Thanks for all the suggestions. Will the Riviera hold 150 people comfortably? oh, and I forgot to mention that my family is Italian so food is a major factor in the hall selection.

Villa Lombardi's has amazing italian food-suffolk, our place is the Old Field Club, but with tax and grat it is around $135 pp. The Riviera in Massapequa is very pretty and reasonable. Congrats and Happy planning!

Definitely look at the Swan Club. It has everything you want (beautiful gardens, right on the water, bridges, a gazebo, outdoor areas). I am having my wedding there after falling in love with the grounds. It is also very reasonable and the food was AMAZING!! They offered us a free lunch to try the food when we went there to see it.
