Reception Hall Question Again...

Original post by isuser

hi girls,

i have started my search for a reception hall for my 2006 wedding and desperately need suggestions from you girls!

my requirements are
1) sunday - would like to start at around 4pm in the afternoon. so would need 'twilight' or a full day hall.

2) have about 220 guests.

3) not over $150++ per person.

4) in nassau county

5) 1 wedding at a time

so far, i've looked at
- woodlands (nice)
- village club of lake success (nice for a saturday but not for sunday)
- north ritz club (regular time slot is very decently priced, but twilight is A LOT more expensive, like $60 more per person)

any other suggestions????

thank you!!!!!!!

how about the harbor club in huntington
i am partial, of course since it is where i am getting married and i love it
its on the water and is only one wedding at a time, is in your price range and amount of guests range

not many girls on this site have gotten/are going to get married there - but all that have had raved about it!!!

the banquet manager Scotty has been more than helpful with everything that i needed so far - so im sure he could figure out something with the twilight timing that you are wanting...

here are some pics

Try the Metropolitan.

metropolitan is nice, and I think you will LOVE flowerfield! You're probably right at the right price of $150 a head with Flowerfield.

Carlyle prices for Summer 05 were Friday 135, Sat. 185 and Sunday 145...

Good Luck!

The Crescent Beach club may be in your price range for an afternoon reception. They definitley hold enough people and it's one wedding at a time.
