As part of our engagement present my parents brought us the mickey and minnie bride and groom snowglobe from Disney. It is beautiful. If you go to the Disney Store website you will see it there.

I'm not sure about the silk flowers. My MOH told me about it the other day and that's really the only reason why I thought of it! haha! I'm not that good! Anyway, I'm not sure where you would go for silk flowers, would it still be a florist? I will try to do a search for ya!
If you speak with someone about your centerpieces, I'm sure there are ways to incorporate silk flowers and that wedding topper.

Hello : ) we are adding a little disney to our wedding as well (FI is a HUGE disney nut and goes like 6 times a year lol). Everyone already gave you wonderful ideas. I'll be using the cake topper that was pictured in the previous post and I'm trying to see if the baker can do 'hidden mickey's' on the sides of the wedding cake. White on White so not to noticable. We are also putting the mickey and minney bride and groom on the place card table. We are naming all the tables for characters...mickey, minney, goofy, donald, etc. and we'll be making our placecards with pictures of each.
For the table's last time we went to disney we picked up a bunch of small (no more than 4 inches big) plush characters that sit and their hands grasp together and we'll use them as holders for the table cards. Goofy will be holding the goofy card, minney holding the minney card, etc. (sorry its kind of hard to explain).
I have also seen during my searches a tiara that has a mickey head in the middle. It is very hidden and only when you look real hard you can tell : ).
Also for the centerpeices, orginally we were going to have our florist make an ivy topiary in the shape of a mickey head. It was really cute but we opted for flowers instead.

Here is the tiara a cute garter and cute thing for shoes : ).
we're having a harley cake topper. its the groom carrying the bride to the motorcycle.
hey if FMIL rolls her eyes, oh well. its your wedding day.
Silk flowers vary in price. sometimes they are more then real flowers sometimes not. you have to search around for that.

Thanks! I love the Minnie bridal stuff - very cute! Didn't even know they had that kind of stuff. Yes, it IS my wedding, but I don't want to cause problems for AFTER that day. Believe ME - I wanted a DisneyWorld wedding, but oh well. That's why I'm asking for all these suggestions!

Here is the centerpeice we were orginally looking at....instead of the heart in ivy they were going to do a mickey's head.

This is one theme you could have alot of fun with you could give out mosekeeter ears while everyone is partying on the dance floor just an idea!Have fun planning.

the one thing i learned along the way, you cant please everyone. if something makes you happy then you do it. as long as you are happy.
FI's mom gave me the best advice, if it makes you happy then go for it. its your day, your moment and its what you like. if someone doesnt like it oh well because its not there day, its yours.
i just stick to what i like and if someone doesnt like it, oh well not like i care. its my wedding. i am planning for me and FI not for everyone else.
i think a disney thing is awesome and very fairytaleish. there is something special and magical about disney stuff and its your wedding and you have fun and do what you like
if you wanted little people wearing sombraro's and walking around with chips and salsa on the brim, hey you'll get a lot of looks and talks but its what made you happy.
just remember, its what makes you and your FI happy.
