Re: Reception location dilemma
Actually as far as I know neither of those venues offer the price you are looking for during prime wedding season. If you did a fall or winter wedding perhaps you could get that rate. Just something to think about!

Thanks! I hate being poor...LoL! j/k. I wish I could just set a date already. All of these places confuse me. I just want excellent food and music and that's all i'm really concerned about. The rest I can deal with. Any advise on any places under $100 p/p?

Re: Reception location dilemma
You could probably find a place with that price if you do an afternoon reception, or a Friday night or Sunday reception. A Saturday evening is prime time, so it might be hard to find.
Fox Hollow, the Riviera, Milleridge Inn all quoted me around that price for an afternoon.
You should also check out Westbury Manor..my friend is having her's there for $85pp on a Sat. afternoon in October.
Good luck!!

Re: Reception location dilemma
you can pretty much get that price anywhere if you're willing to get married in January, February or March.
If you're planning on a spring, summer or fall wedding, would you consider a friday night or a sunday afternoon wedding? Those days/times are usually the least expensive.
I know that Russo's on the Bay offers tons of food and for a winter wedding their prices are 1/2 of their usual prices
Good Luck with your search...

We're getting married on a Friday night in July and the Swan Club is $75pp. If you want to add the 'Platinum package' it goes up to $95.

Re: Reception location dilemma
Go to Larkfield Manor! They will work with you and give you the best price!! and they gave me some free stuff..like chair covers....
JT will probably more than what you are looking to spend but it is beutiful and the food is delicious. For that price Riviera and Fox Hollow are a definite. Also, Milleridge Cottage will fit that price, and my friend's sister got married there and liked it. Also, Sunday afternoons during the season are cheaper. Good luck!

Re: Reception location dilemma
Larkfield Manor is beautiful and the prices are very reasonable!!!!
I looked at Jericho and you can get the skylight room in that price range for a Friday night reception. I think it was $87 for a Friday in May when I went (last weekend).

Re: Reception location dilemma
If you have your heart set on a Saturday night...I would suggest that you look into having a wedding during the months of Jan- March...We are having our wedding on a Sat night in Jan and we were able to get a price in the area that you are looking at. Fox Hollow, CHCC, and The Swan club all have very resonable prices

Re: Reception location dilemma
i agree with larkfield manor! they just did a bunch of renovations and the place is gorgeous. they completely work with the budget that you have. if you get married in an off month nov-feb, the prices dropped into the low $60-70s pp. also for summer months the prices arent bad at all. i would give them a chance
