Reception only invitation wording???

We are getting married two days before the reception with an intimate and religious ceremony. How do I write the invitation to the reception dinner?

Mr. and Mrs. Bride's Parents
request the pleasure of your company
at a (dinner) reception in honor of
Katie Williams and David Ray
on (Date)
from (Time)
at (Venue).

We will be married in a private
wedding ceremony on (Date)
Please celebrate with us at our
reception following the ceremony

at (Venue).

on Sunday, December fourteenth

Thanks a lot. But I don't want to write this much detail. Something simple, inviting them to the reception to celebrate the marriage of blah blah...anything similar to this?

oh and we are paying ourselves so won't be including parents in the wording.

Since you don't want to include your parents, maybe just change LBUDA's wording to:

(your name) and (his name)
request the pleasure of your company
at a reception to celebrate our marriage
(insert details)
