reception place cards

looking for any good ideas for our wedding place cards for a November wedding..want to do something cute and unique just having trouble thinking of something!

we are buying a bunch of different gourds and attaching the name and table to them

We were thinking of using real pinecones, but then I thought...people are only going to take them to the table, and I wasn't sure what a bunch of pinecones on the table during dinner would be like!

Pottery Barn has great things in their latest catalog for the table. I was thinking of keeping it very simple...tealights, cards and pottery barn pumpkin candles and lanterns!

we are doing a tiny touch of xmas (my day is right after yours). I got like 30 boxes of these placecard holders from PIER 1 last year. it matches my color scheme of champagne....
