I am totally biased torwards Russo's but there's another RH right down the road (still on Cross Bay Blvd.) from Russo's is called Roma View Caterers- the food is not bad at all as is the serivce (my friend had her wedding there)- they offer sit down and buffet dinners as well.
I also heard great things about Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows.

Plattedeutche house...it has a beer garden outback. Looks really cute. Someone also posted about Miller Place surf club, it looked cute too.

Terrace on the Park ....I am biased since I booked them lol...they offer many different packages and rooms at different price points and its a very unique location bc of the views...good luck!
