If you are doing a slideshow for during your reception, how long are you making it?

I did 49 pictures. 16 of him, 16 of me, and 17 of us. I did two songs, one for the childhood pictures and then it changed when it got to us.

I haven't even thought of the length yet! We are showing ours only during the meal. Maybe 2 minutes? I am making it myself so I don't want to get too crazy. FH really wants one and I could care less about it, so I am mostly doing it for him.

What kind of program are you using to make it yourself? I would love to do this but don't know where to begin!

We are doing one ourselves and I will be using Microsoft Powerpoint. Our room has multiple TVs on the walls around the room so we plan on keeping it on all night.

Our venue does it in the foyer area so guests see it when they walk in. I think it plays until the reception starts? Im not too sure.

Probably 3-4 minutes before dinner. Some of our childhood and some of us, our friend is doing it for us.

Thanks! I was thinking that I am going to try to keep it to 2 songs. We'll have been together 8 years by the time we get married, so I want to incorporate pics through our relationship which will include our kids. Ok, maybe 3 songs tops LOL
