I am getting married next winter 2009 and have just started looking for a reception venue. My fiance and I would like to have our reception somewhere in NYC or Long Island City with lots of windows and a beautiful view of the NYC skyline. We are having 150 people max. Does anyone have any venue ideas/ suggestions that fit this description? Thanks for your help!

I know you said NYC or LI, but in NJ (just across the river) is the Liberty House and it has amazing views of lower Manhattan. Just a thought

Terrace on the Park -Penhouse room has a full view of skyline, unisphere, worlds fair,shea,citifield..got married there on nov 8th views were incredible!

They have a great out door space for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The ballroom has floor to ceiling windows.
