We would like to have our rehearsal dinner in the Northport--->Hungtington area. There will be people coming from Italy and Venzuela. We have a tough crowd to please. We dont want to choose a place that gives a pound of pasta nor do we want to choose a place that serves americanized fajitas. We had an issue with Jonathans a few years ago, so we won't go there again.
Any suggestions?

Re: Recommend a restaurant for a rehearsal dinner!
I have a friend on the board at Northport Yacht Club and can talk to him if interested. Very pretty, right on the water.

Ah, I forgot about the yacht club. My MOH's in laws are members...and in fact, we are going there next week for a birthday party, lmao. I will have to keep that in mind! I am sure they would be willing to hook us up!

Cafe Formaggio in Carle Place! You will not be disappointed! The food, service and decor is excellent. Top notch Italian food at very reasonable prices. And they have a top area that can be sectioned off to give you a lot of privacy. FM me for more details.

Carle Place is too far. See, that's the problem. There are tons of places to choose from in Nassau County...but we want to stay local...huntington area. And it just doesnt seem like there are many good places in Suffolk.

How about The Melting Pot???? Definitely different, and I'm sure everyone would have a great time.
ETA: It's in Farmingdale on 110.

Not sure how much u want to spend, but a lot of restaurants in Hnutington village = $$$$$$. We had ours at Matteo's. The food and atmosphere were nice and the staff was super helpful! It was super reasonable too.

Re: Recommend a restaurant for a rehearsal dinner!
You can try Crossraods in E. Northport depending on the # of people.
Also, anyone can book a party at the Northport Yacht Club but I do know they had a policy of member only parties during some of the summer months....so call and see.
I had my graduation party there a year ago and it was great.
