Recommendations for Tuxes

Hi Girls...FI is going to look for tuxes this weekend. Any suggestions for good quality places?? Or places I should stay away from???

Feldman - Esquire in Lynbrook is wonderful to work with. FI gets his tuxedo for free as long as you have 4 guys renting tuxedos. Also, they have a tailor on the premises in cash alternations need to be done when the guys go and pick them up.

FH is planning on going to the tux place that is next to Royalty limo. Depending on how many you need, the guys told us we might even get two free.

FH has used them before for a friends wedding and they were good and prices are also good.

We haven't started looking, but I heard that Men's Wearhouse has a big selection and reasonable prices (approx. $100) including shrits, shoes, vests, ect.

I am in plainview...so places in nassau would be preferred. Thanks a million. Possibly places that you also know that are national chains.

We are using Feldman Esquire in Merrick.

I was worried about finding a national chain also since my FI's ENTIRE family will be coming from out-of-state, but you can send the guys in to get fitted in pretty much any tuxedo shop to get measured. (I got forms from Feldman that they can get filled out at home).

They were reasonablly priced and professional.

I had gone into Town and Country in Wantagh right before then and I thought that they were rude and expensive. (A woman was waiting there before us, and the man came to wait on us instead of her since we were for a wedding and her son was only looking for a tux for the prom). I told him to help her instead and he said, the other guy will get her. (She was pissed, I felt bad). He also put my FI in a jacket that was way too big and kept on telling us it was the right size. So, in case you couldnt tell, I didn't like Town and Country.

We are using Victor Talbots. They have a great selection and they also sell suits and tuxes. They are located in Greenvale.

After Hours in Roosevelt Field Mall was aweful! They gave DH the WRONG tux and wouldn't change it. He still looked hot even though it was TOTALLY THE WRONG ONE. The GM's were different than his.
