Hi! My FH and are looking for a RH in Nassau County that would have beautiful grounds for us to have for a CH and our pictures. Any ideas? I've already inquired about Westbury Gardens, Chateau Briand, and Woodbury Country Club. My FH loves the outdoors and I want to make our wedding special for him. Any help will be appreciated.

If you like the beach, the Crescent Club is beautiful! If you are willing to go to Suffolk, Flowerfield's has gorgeous grounds and Land's End has the beach and beautiful grounds.

Agree -- there is a lake and beautiful grounds with room for an outdoor ceremony and indoor/outdoor space for CH (it's one wedding at a time so you have the place to yourselves)

We want to do the outdoor thing too (but have a nice indoor area in case of bad weather). So far we've liked the Royalton in Roslyn and the Glen Cove Mansion. The Swan Club has a really pretty garden outside too.
Is there an area in Nassau that you want, North Shore, South Shore, East, West?

Woodbury Country Club has beautiful grounds for pics and an outdoor CH
Also, Crest Hollow Country Club and the North Ritz Club

I am looking primarily on the North Shore as the church I belong to is in Brookville... and I want to have the smallest gap possible between church and CH. I don't mind doing the pictures, but I pretty much refuse to miss my own CH... so I want a place that's close by so that I can do pics in between the church and the CH.
So far I'm going to check out
Westbury Manor The Riviera Chateau Briand Millerage Carriage House (FH loves Milleridge Inn) Crescent Beach Club Chateau La Mer Woodbury Country Club
We have a long engagement so I have a little (although not much) time to go shopping.

definately try the riviera, its beautiful, but not the best if you're having a large wedding (over 200). plus you'd be getting married the day after my wedding there

Ditto Crest Hollow. DH and I got married there and the grounds are immaculate. Pool, gardens, and more.

Coral House does. They have them on a rooftop if I remember correctly. A friend's wedding was there last year.

definitely check out Crest Hollow Country Club...their grounds are amazing...lots of places for pictures...and they offer CH outside

I booked at Crest Hollow Country club for the very same reason. Their grounds for pictures are BEAUTIFUL, and cocktail hour is outdoors by a huge swimming pool. CHCC also takes you around on a golf cart so that you dont have to walk when taking pictures.
