recs please! searching for the BEST red velvet cake!!!
i LOVE red velvet cakes and last night, i had dinner with my cousin at Cheesecake factory and the Stefanie's Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake (it's cake in-between cheesecake) was to DIE for!!!! (there goes my so-called-wedding diet!!)
i'm still feeling the heavenly effects of the red velvet and i'm wondering, where/what was the best red velvet cake you've ever tasted?
TIA!

Martha's Country Bakery- They are in Bayside, Astoria, and Forest Hills. We had it at our engagement party and everyone is still talking about that cake! They also have cupcakes. Crumbs also makes good Red Velvet Cupcake.

Love Martha's Country Bakery on Austin Street!!!!
There is a place in Garden City by the 7th Street Cafe that makes a good Red Velvet Cake
Don't know the name of the bakery though.

My wedding cake!! The Royalton red velvet was soooo good!! I had a HUGE piece the day after my wedding! I had a HUGE piece of Kerri's too!! We both got the same cake and it was delish!!! As far as from bakeries, I've heard Cake Man Raven is the best in NY for red velvet.

OMG! The best Red velvet cake I ever had was from Bigs the Baker. His website is bigsthebaker.com . He did my sister's bridal shower and bachelorette party cakes.
