Redsox fan who got killed...

I was reading about it in the paper and it made me so angry that this poor innocent girl died over nonsense.... it said that officials are considering banning alcohol sales during the world series. Alcohol should be banned at all stadiums across the country, it is the root of the problem, but it won't stop these fans from getting drunk.

There's a bar near fenway park, i'm sure the fans will get drunk there first or just find a way to sneak in alcohol. These people are insane. This poor girl, I feel so bad for her family. Noone deserves this, Noone. The sad part is that there will be riots wether boston wins the world series or not. They burned a car because it had a new york license plate on it. You know I rooted for the redsox cuz I hate the yankees cuz of all the grief I get from yankee fan about the mets. Now I hear this and it's like, 'what is wrong with these people'. Why do things have to get so out of control, no sport is worth someone dying over it. Right now I don't even care anymore who wins the world series. I care that there is a family crying over the loss of their daughter and that right now is more important than any silly game.

Did you read the whole story? She was killed by a cop, not by the other fans.

I too share your views to a certain extent. While alcohol does play a very significant part in it, it's not the only trigger. Just look at the parents who fight at their children's sporting events.

People need to realize that it's just a game.

yes I read the whole story and I know it was a cop. But it happened because these people are nuts, just plain insane. We have to have cops in riot gear to celebrate a team winning a playoff game?????

We should be saying that it's just a game but for some people it's not and now an innocent girl had to pay the price.
