Register at Macy's? Fortunoff's?

We may be registering soon, and we're trying to decide between Fortunoff's and Macy's. I was thinking that Macy's has frequent sales and may save people money. Any experience? Opinions?

We started our registries at Macy's and Bed, Bath and Beyond, haven't really added/done much with them yet. When a friend got married she did Fortunoffs and Macy's, and we had an easier time at Macy's. I think it just depends on your preference for where you'd like to shop and probably convenience for guests.

We did macy's b/c it is closer and they have them in every state. The bridal registry lady at smithhaven mall was the sweetest women ever!

Can anyone tell me which Macy's you registered at so I can stay away from them!! lol

We are registering there, but haven't gone yet so I'd rather go to one where the salespeople are nice and patient
