Registered today and FI surprised me with a gift!!

Registered today and FI surprised me with a gift!!

We went to Macy's and Fortunoff to register and had a good day. Went to Macy's first and then had some lunch. FI agreed to put leftovers in the car and I was going to get the gun and meet him at the registry area. Well, FI took so long and I started to get worried. I found him at the front of the store buying me the Lladro figurine I have been in love with!! This thing is SOOOO expensive (lover $400!) and he bought it because he knows how much I love it. FI told me that he was always planning on buying it for me because we 'have to have it for our wedding day.' I started to cry in Fortunoff because I was so happy. Below is a picture of it.

I also convinced FI to register for china! We registered for it at Macy's because even when it 's not on sale it's a good price. We ended up not registering for everyday plates because we like the ones we have. The second pic is of our china. It's nice and simple. Does anyone else who either lives on their own or with FI find that they don't need many things, even the good stuff or am I crazy? Just had to share!

I love Lladro. Don't you love it when FH's do sweet things like that. I had to read the next sentence twice .

You are running around chasing him with a gun while he is buying you gifts, pretty funny. That and the STD's always get to me

that is so sweet (and beautiful!!) Isn't it nice when they remind us exactly WHY we are marrying them in the first place!

LET'S HEAR IT FOR OUR BOYS!!!

I also live on my own and have a lot of day to day things....I am concentrating on barware, serving dishes, and decorative pieces- stuff that I never buy for myself. Also, bathroom stuff, sheets etc

That really is beautiful...not to mention so sweet of your FH to do...I would have been crying in Fortunoff's as well....

How sweet!

FI and I have been living together for 2 1/2 years, but a lot of our things are hand-me-downs from our parents, like our dishes, which my mom gave us because she bought new ones, and our cutlery, and some other misc. things, so I felt it was time to start our life with some new stuff.
