when I register I'm gonna go and do the bulk of the list with FH and then finish up with my mom on a seperate day so she doesn't feel left out

Just me and FH
He had sole control over 'the gun' b/c for some reason scanning made him feel so special lol so I just checked off what we needed on the checklist that they give you and told him what to scan.

That's what I was thinking - my mom wants to be apart of me but FI wants it to be us.. HMM

Well, in that case: most people register at two places (fine stuff and everyday stuff) so take FH for the fine stuff and your mom for everday or vice-versa. OR go with FH for a good amount of it and then your mom for other things (kitchen 'girly' stuff lol).

Thats true.. My FI and I are going to probably go this weekend. I just feel bad for my mom. I know she is so excited. But my FI and mom have different taste

just he and I, and I let him zap away with the gun....It made him feel special.
On a side note he also pretented he was a super hero battling the bad guys in the middle of Linens and Things. He would hide behind a corner, and jump out and press the button like he was 'shooting' the bad guys.
It was hysterical when saw some lady walking by caught him in an attacking stance when I wasn't near him. He turned beat red.
