Registering question

Registering question

Me and my fiance have lived together for almost 4 years now so there is really nothing that we need or we would have already bought it. Do you think we need a registry? I was in Bed Bath and Beyond and they had alot of cute kitchen 'things' but nothing I really need.

Any opinions? Thanks!

go for the kitchen gadgets...but what about a nice new bed set for 'married life' and new sheets and new towels....almost like a 'fresh beginning' for your new life.

alot of us are in the same situation.. some people suggest 'upgrading' and getting new nicer things and donating your old stuff.. we have only lived together for a year and a half so everything is still new..
People will definitly want you to register.. we are going to register for some nice things that I probably wouldnt go out and buy myself.. and stores like BBB give you cash back for your returns off the registry.. if you get stuff you just really dont need/want can use.. return it and buy yourselves something nice that you've really needed/wanted.

I was in the same boat as you...I already had my own house...with everything we needed. I registered for new dishes...because the ones I had were old. New towels, some picture frames. Things I would like...but didn't want to buy myself. It's fun...

def. register. Like everyone else said you can upgrade your bedding, towels, etc. But maybe there is something you've wanted but never bought for yourself - Cappucino maker, waffle iron, etc. also don't forget about a nice set of luggage.

That's what we're doing!!! We're getting really 'nice' stuff that we wouldn't buy for ourselves (all reasonably priced stuff though)

What about tools, throw pillows, definitely sheets, and anything else you like. Maybe you can register for an expensive piece of furniture that you need and people can chip in and get you what you really could use.

I was in the same boat as you too. I just wasnt really interested in registering cause I had a lot of stuff already. Then i decided the heck with it - - I will get new stuff
Plus registering is FUN! and you dont risk getting too much stuff you dont like.
