FH insisted on registering for a panini maker and an icecream maker? He made me nuts at BBB because I really don't think he will use either. My best friend from college did the same to his then fiance when he insisted on registering for a juicer that he has since used once.
Did any of your fh's insist on registering for something you know he won't use?
yep..my fh wanted the retro ice crusher at BBB...its cheap but when the hell are we going to use that...we have a blender! lol he just thought it was cool!

FH had no say in what we registered for lol. But what I can say about the panini maker...if you have leftovers and there isn't a lot left...it can make something out of nothing

Yep. FH had to register for an ice cream maker. But not just any ice cream maker, a COMMERCIAL one (it has it's own freezer built in so you don't have to freeze the bowl like some makers). I really hope no one gets it because it looks like it would take up my entire under sink cabinet!

I have to admit, FH and I both got a bit excited with the scanner! When we were at Fortunoffs we just zapped everything we liked or thought looked cool! I don't cook fish but I still put an All Clad fish fry thing on! I've since re-evaluated a few choices. I think it's all part of the process, and even if you only use it once a year, it's not like you paid for it and it makes for silly jokes around the house!

The Margaritaville blender is AWSOME. That was one of the first things we registered for at BBB. My mom has one and we use it all summer long.

Lol my friends got that one and we tried to use it a few months after their weding… there must have been something wrong with it bc it never really froze right so it was just chocolate soup. And then we were trying to “fix” it and the bowl got knocked over and there was chocolate soup EVERYWHERE!
We will not be registering for one of those. hahaha

FH bought a chocolate fountain 3 years ago and he only uses it once a year - I think he's used it twice. His family has a big get together every labor day weekend and that's when he takes it out. So IMO he prob won't use it, it's too much of a hassle to get it going and wash it out.

He wanted the Delonghi deep frier. Which he would probably use (because he knows hwo to make rice balls & mozzerella sticks & all that yummy stuff) but i prob wont lethim other wise ill be the size of our house! lol Otherwise he was pretty reasonable on everything.

My friend let her fh register for whatever he wanted and didn't fight him when he said he didn't want to register for something. Then went on line and changed everything to what she wanted. When the gifts came in her fh was excited about the gifts he argued with her about and he never realized he didn't get the stuff he wanted. Guys are so stupid sometimes.

my fh is clueless about everything....I can tell him something and literally 30 secs later he has already forgotten so he will never know....he'll think we just didn't get it and he'd never buy it on his own.
