Registies....

Girls how many items did you register for? Although I registered in 2 places I feel I don't have enough items?

I think my registry says 140 items but thats including small things like cooking utensils.

I only have 70 I think I really feel bad about it, but FH and I have lived together for a year now and I bought my house 2 years ago...I have mostly everything I need and only needed to upgrade some stuff. I hope I don't piss anyone off by the so few items.

I am doing a HM registry, however!

i th ink i registered for like 300 something. and most of it was purchased! you need to have double the amount of guests you are inviting. but really its half of that because all of those people will not be invited to the shower and in NYC we don't really give gifts at the wedding itself.
However, make a broad list of gifts you would like in all price ranges. Don't forget to add some smaller things too for a wishing well!

we registered at 2 places and maybe a total of 75 things (but by 75 i am counting my 12 place settings as 12 items etc). My shower is Saturday and i know that there are people that did not get things off the registry bc there wasnt enough but imo i would prefer to get gift cards or cash instead of registering for things i dont need/want

We're at almost 300 things, but most are small kitchen items...I know all of it won't be purchased but I like to give people an option

between our 2 registries we probably have about 250 items. 75 of those are oxo pieces (FH went scanning crazy when we got to the oxo wall at bed bath & beyond).

I think the general rule of thumb is twice as many things as you have guests.

I think we have about 1/2 as many things as guests

I think we had about 250. We're inviting 220 (a list, there's more on the b list...guest list is out of control!) A few things were already bought as engagement presents, even though we didn't have an e-party. I'm hoping most of the other things will get bought for my shower and w'll get mostly checks/cash at the wedding itself.
