Registries: LNT v. BBB

I'm debating about which one to register at. Does anyone have opinions about or experiences with either that can help me make a decision? Do they have all the same stuff? Are there any differences between the stores?

I didn't register at either, but some of my friends did. Most of them at BBB. I have one friend who registered at LNT instead because she swears that they are classier (who am I to judge). For the most part they sell the same stuff... Might find a different pattern or two depending on what you are putting on your registry. Most just decide by which is closer to their house.
Check the sites and see if there are things at one you feel are nicer than the other. If not, just go with whichever one is closer to your house.

Hi friend!!

I registered at BBB. My reasoning? There are 3 close to my house while there are only 2 LNTs near my house and BBB is closer. I have no idea if there is a difference. I never thought of one being better than the other.

Although BBB had our china that we picked out from Macy's for almost half the price.

I chose BBB because I like that they take expired coupons (i have TONS!) and they are closer to my house, and most of my family. As of now, I have had a great experience...everyone who has bought stuff for our eparty has said how helpful everyone was.

And, my FMIL bought us the new Lenox Unity Candle holder and they didnt have it in the store yet (only online) so they ordered it for her and said it would take 6 weeks to come in....well 1 week later its in!!!!

I'd say BBB out of the 2, only because theres one near me
LNT is basically the same store, but less convienient to get to from my location

BBB gives you cash back on returns. LnT doesn't as far as I know. Because of this I would go with BBB. I may switch my macys registry to BBB because macys is p*ssing me off lately.

yeah, we registered with bbb for a few reasons, including the cash back, the coupons, and there's nearby as well as something national.

i didn't like the people at any of the LNT's i went too...they weren't helpful at all...so I registered at BBB..i also worked for both companies and BBB was definitely my favorite

bbb will give you cash for returns, not sure if lnt will...., they take expired coupons...

I was wondering this same thing because i heard the return policy for one is terrible, but i cant remember which one it was. An old coworker used one and i remember her complaining about the return policy. i wish i knew which place it was!

LNT is owned by the same company as BBB, that's why BBB takes LNT coupons. The main difference between the two stores is that BBB tends the be a bit more upscale that LNT, as far as service and types of brands.

We originally registered at LNT, but they weren't very helpful at ALL... and when we went in to change somethings they were really rude. So we cancelled our registry there and moved on to BBB, when we got stuff off the registry for our engagement party, they didn't even question the returns... and when we did the registry they were super helpful and nice...

I did LNT only because my mom had a charge card for there, and I thought they were like the same exact thing... should I switch??

no...your registry is like your receipt...so if its on there you won't have any problems...although they usually don't check to see what's on there or not anyway

I need to go to a BBB by you guys b/c the one in the city has absolutely no selection!!! they had one set of nice lenox plates for china and the rest of the stuff was horrible!!!!
