registry

ok just found out that a casual friend of mine is already registered and some things have been bought for her sept 2005 wedding

where can i find out where shes registered or search her list? she didnt mention what store shes registered at- is there a main registry where i can look her name up?

try websites first, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Fortunoffs. When you click on registries it asks for a first or last name, state and when the wedding is. If she is registered there on line too, it will come up. If not, just try calling the stores maybe.

I think the Knot and Weddingchannel both have a space where you can put in a name and it checks all the registries for you... I'm pretty positive!

that is a toughy..she was very polite and following Miss Manner's advice in not telling you where she is regisitered. are you comfortable with the possibility of calling her parents? that would be a heck of a lot easier then searching all the possibilites in the nyc/li area! gl! let us know if you find it.

the easiest way is to look online - if you check the knot, wedding channel, and fortuneoff you have hit all the big ones becaue the knot as BB&B, pier one, and others, wedding channel has macys's and few others
