Did anyone else have a really hard time picking out stuff for their registry? We don't want to register in too many places, but none of the places we are registering at have bedding that I like! I don't want to 'settle' just to make it easier with the registries, but I don't want to send people all over creation looking for stuff either. What to do?

Re: Registry!!
I did too! maybe wait a little while longer with the bedding, maybe they will come out with something different by the time your shower rolls around.

Don't Settle! I think it's really important to find something you love or at least like. Just keep looking.

Don't worry about it... just register for what you like. People could also shop through the internet for your registry if they feel there are a lot of stores. Don't settle... or perhaps register for a giftcard to the store in the approx amount of the bedding so you can always have that and then pick out your bedding later.

Re: Registry!!
Yes, my mom told me last night that I need to put more stuff on my registry, especially things in the $25-$30 range for people who want to buy an assortment of things for the shower. But I'm not allowed to look at the registry to see what's been bought already. Okay, Mom... I don't know what else to put on there! We don't need anything else. I told my FH to get shopping and put things on there that he wants. Why does the bride have to pick out everything? Yes, I know, guys can choose some silly things, but I'm out of ideas.

Re: Registry!!
I am having the exact same problem with the bedding. The place that I did register at for the bedding must have discontinued it beacuse it is just gone off the registery and it is no longer on the web-site. Do they know how long it too to find that one....ugh
I don't know what to do now either........

Re: Registry!!
I had the same problem. I'm registering at 3 places and I didn't like any of the bedding. I ended up settling for a bedding at Crate and Barrell for my second bedroom, but I decided I'm not going to register for anything for my bedroom. I'm going to wait it out until I find something I love!

You could always add $25 G/C's. I know people who like to add a gift card, for things you think of later!

I have to say, I'm not super impressed with bedding these days either. I found something I like a lot, but never found anything I truly loveda nd went gaga over.

You can do that? That doesn't seem like a registry thing to me. It seems like what people will give me if they can't find anything on the registry.
It's weird, I don't want to put random things on the registry just so I can return them, and I don't want things that we don't need. Obviously there are other things we want, like a flat-screen TV down the line, so why don't people just give us gift cards?
