registry annoyance

I dont want to sound ungrateful so let me preface with that, i honestly dont care about the gifts, i care more about people close to me having a nice day with me

anyway

i stalked today

and someone bought me things that werent ON my registry??!!!

a dog leash with a flashlight
candlesticks (which i already have a set on there)
a picture frame
and gerber daisy stems (no idea what this is)


any of you girls have people do this?
do u think it was an accident? like the person who was ringing up the order, scanned things that the person was buying for themself

i mean a dog leash? lolol we do have a dog but random lol

I want to think is a mistake.

When people buy items off your registry and have other items for themselves - it will pop up on your registry.

Since they scan the code prior to ringing everything up.

I think those are items they probably purchased for themselves. There was another post about this and it seems that if the cashier rings it up a certain way... it adds it onto your registry!
I wouldn't worry, I think it is just a technical error

It counts on the cashier.

Also - My friends made me something for my shower. They named her Rosie - anyway, all the items (well most of them) that were bought to make her were NOT on my registry, but when i looked at it - all of it was there and i was like '***, why did someone buy me 1 XXX'

So it could be something for your shower... this is rosie:


ETA: she is an ironing board with kitchen tools and such - my head attached.

THAT would be a dissapointment!

lol- was it bed bath and beyond?? we had baby powder on ours... and we never got it- the cashier just added it to th registry...
we also did get stuff we didnt register for.... i literally got 4 of those frames that are supposed to hold your wedding pic and invitation...
oh well..
