registry gifts/shower confusion..

So on Saturday I went to BB&B and registered.. on Sunday I posted it put on my wedding website and this is what happened..

My friend left me a facebook message saying “I did it will it get to you in 3-4 business days?” so I immediately checked my registry and found out that a few things have been purchased!!! I am soooo excited =D I got my everyday dish set, a set of cups, & a towel~~ I’m not sure if she bought all of those but they have been purchased~~~~~~

Now my question is….

1. I thought that I receive the gifts at the shower… but if the person ships it to my house do I need to keep it wrapped and bring it to the shower myself(assuming shes invited)? Or can I open it and use it..
2. If the gift is shipped to me (which I think she did) will I know who bought it for me?

I am sooo clueless on shower and gifts… please help.. I am the 1st out of all my friends to get married so I dont think any of my friends know what to do..

BTW, my job stinks because they banned going on the internet during the morning hours.. so now I cant post as much D:<.. I am writing this on word and I’m just sneaking on to post this.. lol I’ll be on during “afternoon” time. I hope I don’t get caught sneaking on here to post this.. lol
