Re: Registry Poll

At first we registered at Fortunoff but then changed it to Bed Bath and Beyond because they have a much bigger selection. I think I'm also going to register at Crate and Barrel. I love that store!

Re: Registry Poll

We registered at Macys and Fortunoff. I plan on going to Crate and Barrel also. We also have a HM registry through Liberty Travel. FI and I live together and have so many things, so we decided to do a HM registry. This is what I am most excited about!

I did Fortunoff's & Bed, Bath & Beyond...I happen to love BB&B return policy (you have 2 years to return from your wedding date)

Re: Registry Poll

I registered with Fortunoffs and now I regret it. Too many of my guests are OOT and they have no idea what Fortunoffs is and all my in town guests shop at BBB anyway. I have gotten a TON of things from my BBB registry and not 1 item from Fortunoffs. I think I'm gonna switch to Macys (plus I LOVE their Hotel Collection)

I'm not to sure if we're going to register, we already live together. We have everything we need. Our family's insist that we do so they can throw us a party. I don't want to ask for anything that we don't need or that we can get for ourselves.

same situation for us. We will be living together for over 2 years by the time the wedding/shower time comes around. I really do not need much as far as home items go. And I dont want a bread maker, or a waffle iron that will just take up space in my cabinets and waste my friends and families money. My sisters suggests I register in order to 'upgrade' my items. But I dont believe in asking for things I wouldn't purchase myself.

The one thing I may consider is registering with a website that supplies replacement china pieces. I inherited my Grandmas china and there are some pieces which are missing and/or chipped. Its a beautiful set and means a lot to me to have it. I found a website who identifies the pattern for you and then you can register w/ them for the replacements. They are also affiliated with Amazon. My Mom suggested I register with them through Amazon so I can list luggage as well. Which we do need. I think she secretly wants us to stop using hers!
