Registry question?

Registry question?

We already have a house and when my fiancee moved in, we purchased new dishes, glassware, pots, etc.

So, all we really need is:
Wedding specific things (toasting glasses, etc)
LUGGAGE
few odds & ends (tray tables LOL)

We were thinking of doing a honeymoon $ registry, but from experience it is kind of confusing....

So... 2 questions:

1) Where is the best place to register for luggage? This way we can do BB&B, Target and ___?

2) Is 3 registries too many?

Nope. From everything I have read, three registries is just the right amount! Not sure about the luggage. Macy's maybe?

I don't think 3 registries is too many. Try Macy's for the luggage. They always seem to have a huge selection.

I don't think 3 is too much. It gives people more options. Macy's is a good place for luggage.

Re: Registry question?

We're doing BB&B and Liberty Travel Registry, since we've been living together for a while.

I played around with the Liberty Travel registry site and here is how I understand it. You can set it up so that your guests get to choose between honeymoon gifts that you've already 'registered for' (Couples Massage, Snorkeling Adventure, etc), but in the end, you get the $ for all purchases as a lump sum transferred to your bank account. You don't have to spend it on a snorkeling adventure (though the purchaser will probably ask how it was). I kept the amounts small, for example; if a couples massage probably costs around $200, I set it up as 8 $25 gifts, so we're not asking someone to shell out $200. This at least gives people the option of purchasing a gift off of your retail registry and maybe adding on a small travel purchase.

I think it offers guests another option for couples who already live together and/or own a house and don't need much.
