Target... have any of you ladies registered here?? I am already registered at Fortunoffs and Bed Bath and Beyond... wasn't sure if this was too similar to bed bath and beyond???
Any feedback would be great! TIA!

Re: registry question about
i registered at fortunoffs and bed bath and beyond.....i thought i was done...then soo many people told me to do target, so I did. THey have lots of stuff that the other two didnt have. Like there sheet sets are only $25 (this is just an extra set, I didnt want to have someone spend an absurd amount of money on it) and they also had different kitchen 'appliances' than the others
Good luck
ps....i registered for target online....and i registered for the other two at the store...i just didnt feel like going into a busy target to register!

Re: registry question about
I'm registered at Target and as for the customer service, it did suck....but I guess it was worth it, because I do like the store itself...However, due to the horrible customer service, I did delete a lot of the items on my list and put more on my Bed, Bath, and Beyond registry. But I think it does depend on which store you go to. I went to the one in E NY, Brooklyn.....

Re: registry question about
Here was my experience with Target: Entered all the info at the kiosk, then went to guest services who told us that the guns didn't work. We could go to another store and see if they had them, or we could write down skew#s and enter them on website. Since we were already there, that is what we did. The problem was that when we got home, not everything we wanted in the store was on the webiste (but this also happened with Fortunoff when I wanted to add stuff later). I wanted to jsut forget the whole thing, but DH insisted that his midwest relatives would want to shop there, so we kept a few things on the registry.
Then, later, I got sheets shipped to me, the color was not quite what I imagined when I saw them online. I thought I could just return or exchange them in the store. WRONG. If the item is purchased online, you have to return it by shipping it back to them, yada, yada. So I ended up just keeping them. I have also heard that they will not return anything without a receipt (which I have experienced just shopping there for the house) so I was afraid I would have a tough time returning. Then, they just dropped the whole registry 3 months after the wedding without as much as sending me an email. Now I know not too many people are still buying us wedding gifts, but I might have gone in and bought what was left. Now, I don't even know what was left! The other stores will also give you a discount to buy the remaining items that your guests do not purchase. Target doesn't do that either.
Don't get me wrong- I love to shop at Target and I go there all the time, but I would NOT recommend registering there. It is just not worth the hassle IMO. BTW, my best registry experience by far has been Crate and barrel.

REGISTER AT TARGET!!!! Your guests will LOVE you! Everyone that bought gifts for the engagement party were very happy about the Target registry. THey had name brand stuff and low prices, so I got even more than I would have if I only did Fortunoff. The customer service and registry process was fine for me... (so far anyway - no complaints) It's close so nobody has to travel across the Island to Fortunoff's or pay for shipping. We used Fortunoff for all of the nice china, crystal, etc.... but for ice cream scoops, etc... we used Target! Best place I've registered so far!!! And it gives guests more options for how much they want to spend.
