Registry questions
Hi ladies!I have a few questions about registries.
Is there any point to register if you do not know for certain if you will have a bridal shower? I'd like to have a bridal shower, but most of my sisters love out of state and I am not sure if they would be able to plan one/ afford to pay for one.
If i do end up registering, How far in advance should i register?
Where is the best place to register?
Thank you in advance.

We registered at Macy's and crate and barrel, since they hold sales all the time, allowing guests to be able to afford the pricier stuff. Ad for registering, I think you should go ahead and do it. I'm sure you're sisters, close friends/family, or even your FH's family may step in. I'm sure once they find out your sisters may not be able to, someone will offer to do it. And to keep costs low, maybe hold it over someone's house or yours? I've been to showers hosted in ppls backyards and it was equally just as lovely as a restaurant, or hall.

We did Amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond. If you are concerned about people being able to afford the gifts you choose BB & B accepts not only their current coupons, but their expired ones as well. Good Luck.

I did bed bath and beyond... I'd do it if I were you... you never know. They stay active for a long time so you can do it from now. It doesnt cost anything to do one. Do one where you like to shop so if you get gift cards you can buy stuff. I like the Bed Bath and Beyond gave me cash for the things i did not want to keep off the registry.

Registry questions
Besides having a registry for the shower, a few of our guests that live out of state and couldn't attend our wedding sent gifts from the registry.

you can register anyway- I'm sure you'll have a bridal shower... macy's is the best in my opinion. you get 5% back on every purchase towards your registry put onto a gift card at the end. I just got mine, and it was just under $300!!!

I thought that bed, bath and beyond was really great. They have someone come around with you who helps you understand what you need, and the quality of different brands over others. If you go on a weekend, just call ahead and make an appointment to have someone help you. We found it so helpful. Plus BB&B let's you return ANYTHING up to two years after. So if you get something but never use it, you can always return. They usually aren't too particular about what condition it is in either. We registered at Macy's too-- but the people there were clueless about any of their products and didn't know how to answer our questions. Also, every item I priced at each was cheaper at BB&B and you can always use the coupons.

Highly recommend BB&B. As a former employee of theirs they have an unbeatable return policy!
