Well.. I've been living with my fiance for over 4 years.. We bought a house together last year and made a small house warming party. Now this year we bought another house (MUCH BIGGER!!!)..
Our BIG day is June 28th 2009 and I don't know if I should make a registry?? We have been living together for a while and we had a small house warming party last year. My sister tells me to do one regardless of the fact I had a house warming party last year.. Any suggestions??

i would register. my sister had been living with her FH for a while, and she registered for a bunch of stuff to update what she had. if you don't want to do a 'gift registry' maybe you can register for your honeymoon??? my sister almost did it. sounds like an interesting idea! Good Luck!

Fh and I have been living together for a while now and what we decided to do is register for things that need to be replaced. Like new towels, dishes, etc. We are also still throwing around the idea of doing a hm registry.

i am in the same situation! I was talking to my mom about that last night. She told me i should do a themed party. Like a bra and panty party. Sounds funny...but it could work. Everyone buys different kinds of bras and panties for you. Or lingerie for honeymoon .Just fh misses out, well mine doesnt feel hed really be missing anything, cause ill be wearing it for him!

Absolutely FH & I have 2 homes live together & still did a registry. It reallyhelps people out on what you like & need. I left out somehign that i dont need like blender toaster & coffee machine. things that are pretty new & dont need to be updated.

Do it...you can always upgrade the stuff you have now...FH and I have been living together for 6 years and we did.

You should register. It's one of the few times in your life that you can request specific gifts...and actually get what you want! You can just stick to registering for those things you do not yet have or those things that will need to be replaced quickly (pillows, towels, etc).
It's totally worth it!

I'm totally doing it, and I've been living on my own for a long time. This is the time to replace and upgrade. And if you have a lot of kitchen stuff, you can do nice frames and vases as well. Oh, and luggage! I can't wait for new luggage and a new vacuum!

Definitely register! You deserve new and better things. Maybe just register in one place that has everything! I only registered at Fortunoff. They have everything for the home. I think they even have furniture which is great for you since you just bought a bigger house.

You so should register! Just because you two have been living together doesn't mean anything, just think about how many showers you have gone to and now it's your turn to enjoy it! Just like some of the other girls have said, register for a few items and some special gifts.

I will do one.. My favorite place is TARGET!!! I find everything for the house in there... Frames, vases and other little items will be useful. I bought 2 houses in less than a year, I really take care of my household stuff..

I would def do it! There is always stuff you need! You might as well get new stuff since they will be gifts and you can put stuff on it that you wouldnt buy for yourself! Everything helps when you are paying for a new house!
