Registry/Drinkware Question

Registry/Drinkware Question

So - when you are registering, are the highball and old fashioned glasses (not crystal - talking everyday stuff) the glasses that you'd drink from every day? Or are they barware that you keep for booze and then you register for a separate set of every day glasses? I'm confused!! They look like regular drinking glasses!

that's what I did...

I registered for highball and old-fashioned as everyday. Luigi Bormioli from BBB... They looked like regular drinkware to me too!

Jenn I don't know if you realize this, but I'd be registered for poop if you were not around. At your recommendation I registered for the Lenox Debut crystal and I'm pretty sure I copied your china as well (Waterford Bassano?).

Now I'm going with you again and just deleting these extra glasses I thought were necessary!

YOURE THE BEST!

Re: Registry/Drinkware Question

we really like our current everyday glasses -- i got them really cheap at Century 21, downstairs. We didn't see the need to register for new ones.

We did register for highball and lowball glasses and will sometimes use the lowballs as every day, but dont use the highball ones as much because they are hard to clean. we recently started putting the lowballs in the dishwasher and they came out fine, but still handwash the highballs. They are handblown and are more delicate w/ heavyweight bottoms compared to our everyday stuff.

I will hunt for pictures

Edit: I attached a pic of our highball/lowball glasses... as the screenshot of our registry shows, they were put on 50% clearance and were discontinued. They kind of look like THESE without the bubble.

Our everyday glasses look like the second pic i attached (we have all 3 sizes, it came as a set).

It depends on what glasses you like and how delicate they are.

they look like everyday glasses to me. are they dishwasher safe? if so, you can prob get away with just those. are they really delicate? (like hand-blown glasses) as long as you wont be constantly worrying about breaking them they should be good

GORGEOUS!!!! Especially the bedroom set - I wish that would fit in our room but our house has such a small master bedroom by today's standards!
