For those already married...is there anything you regret spending too much on for your wedding? (ie - too much on flowers, the cake, etc).

I don't regret anything I spent because DH and I figured out ahead of time which areas were most important. So we were budget-conscious and stuck to it for the most part. We decided which areas to splurge on and which areas to reign it in on.
If anything, in one or two areas, I wish I wasn't as budget conscious and almost wish I would have spent more to get a 'better' vendor!

Not one single penny. DH & I created a budget - both overall and then a breakdown by vendor category (music, transportation etc). In some areas we went under (like DJ), and in others we went over (like video), but the end result was in line with our overall budget (I think we went over by $100 but that entire amount was spent on DIY projects).

I spent way too much time and energy stressing out! As for money....I think we did a pretty good job on everything but our honeymoon. Oh well!
