For girls still PLANNING their weddings, what's your biggest regret to date?
mine is that i bought my wedding dress from a horrible horrible store (princess bridals in farmingdale) ... i do love my dress, but i hate that they made money off me.

sending out save the dates, didn't really give me flexibility in cutting my list later on when it spiralzed out of control.
i also regret booking some of my vendors before discovering LIW...

I wish we could have a Sat evening, but the hall we fell in love with was all booked in the downstairs room which we wanted. Oh wells! Sunday it is!

not searching more for my dress, rh (although i love it, i still shouldve searched more), bargainng a little more on rh to throw more things in, searching for a photog in my price range...shouldve researched more

hmm..not really a regret...but i probably wouldve waited to hire a DOC. i saw everyone doing it, and i had to have one...meanwhile ive barely talked to mine since we booked her
i understand its really just DAY OF, so im not that concerned and im sure she will do a good job...but it would be nice to have some more involvement

not looking at more places for dresses. Thought I would save money by going to DB, and for what I paid for my dress...I could have had other selections other places.
Still love my dress....but always wonder if I might have loved something else more.

um, not pushing my dream hall... and not checking a few that I wanted to check out (FH is still mad we went to 17 halls)
also, not checking out duet, it seems their prices were better than patken... and we're paying A LOT more then we wanted to and getting A LOT less than we wanted.
really?!?! Cuz I went to both, and I wanted duet sooo baddddd but they were more expensive than patken, so I booked patken. I regret doing it too in a way, because everytime I see pictures i LOVE they are always duet. I wonder if it was worth the money for me to book the cheapest vendor. Im always searching for pics from people who used patken but they are hard to come by! I see people who used Duet allll the time, so maybe that has influened my feelings as well Im just hoping im being crazy... cuz all this stuff can make u a little nutso!

Don't get me wrong I love love love my hall but I am thinking I should have gone somewhere else where I could have had a Saturday night and more people for the same price I'm paying for a Saturday afternoon.

I regret booking the first photographer I saw instead of shopping around...thank goodness we only lost $500 there.

I haven't done too much yet..only regret is that we didn't push for more stuff thrown in @ RH but still feel like we got a great deal (lots of stuff already)
I think that regrets are what is keeping me from booking some more vendors..I want all the right choices for us

Hmm sometimes I regret not doing something smaller and low key.. .like in a restaurant instad of an RH. Not that $$ has become an issue, it's just that I realize that I could have done something smaller by now and would have already been married. And there is a lot of work that goes into weddings.. though I am probably a lazy bride compared to most girls here.
