Rehearsal Dinner

Rehearsal Dinner

I am in the process of making Rehearsal Dinner invites and am having trouble with the wording. Everything that I have seen online is so formal and doesn't say anything about the church first.
Could you girls tell me how to word it?

TIA!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner

Groom popped the question,
and Bride said “YES”
All the planning is over,
from the hall to the dress.

Only one thing remains for this day to be great,
“practice makes perfect”
Month day is the date.

We’ll have lunch at ??????
For some food and drinks
Then we’ll practice the ceremony
And iron out the kinks

Please join the bride and groom at 12:30 pm
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Rehearsal to Follow at 3:30pm
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx

Re: Rehearsal Dinner

We're inviting people to the RD that don't need to go to the church first - so we're not mentioning that on the invitation.

People in the bridal party will know (we'll tell them) to come to the church first and at what time. We'll provide them directions, too. It doesn't have to be on the invite.

I just ordered mine over the weekend and they say:

Jane and John Doe (FH's Parents)
cordially invite you to a wedding rehearsal dinner in honor of their son
Todd
and
Kara (Last Name)
(time)
(location)
(RSVP info)

We did:

Practice makes perfect...
That's what they say!
Please help us rehearse
for our big day.
We'll go through the ceremony
to iron out the kinks,
and then off to XXXXX
for dinner and drinks.

Robin and Joe's Rehearsal
St. church
date/time
