rehearsal dinner help-Patchogue

Does anyone know of any good restaurants in Patchogue or Bellport to hold a rehearsal dinner??

I live in patchogue and these are my favorites.. I have no idea if they have private rooms or anything just throwing some ideas out there for you.

Perabell in patchogue is amazing... but its small and def. no private room.
JR steakhouse
Mangia Mangia (italian and YUMMY)
Harbor Crab (Seafood)
Brickhouse brewery (more of a laid back scene)

I am not sure about Bellport.

I agree with the above post, all of those and also, i've never eaten at the Oar, but it's right on the water, i've only been there for drinks.

You could also look into the Oar House. They did an excellent job for my engagement party.

Oh and they also opened up Lombardis on the Bay in patchogue.. Its a resturant and a catering hall. Alot of ppl go there to eat. I live right next door so I walk down there all the time...

We're having ours at the Brickhouse....even though it is a more laid back scene downstairs, the private rooms are really nice and they put out a full spread.

I grew up in Bellport, and am having mine there.

Depends on how many people, but Bellport choices are:

Avino's (upstairs room)
The Bellport
Porter's
Painters (in Brookhaven)

I would have recommended Harborside but apparently it turned into a CVS. I just found this out a week ago when FH was taking me out for my bday dinner, lol. We ended up at Harbor Crab which was yummy so it all worked out.

I'm actually getting married at bellport, but I never asked about pricing for rehearsal dinner. If you don't mind, what are they charging you?

I went to a rehersal dinner at brickhouse brewery in the private upstairs room... the food was YUMMMMMMY and the atmosphere was so nice!!! Just watch your liquor, there were nats in the whiskey and rum, (sweetness draws them to it and then they go in get drunk n croak lol) Tried another open bottle of each, happened again and then they just went and opened up two new bottles and everything was great !

If I were you, I would invite them somewhere other than where they will be coming the following day for a wedding.

I am probably having my RH dinner at Bellport Country Club, but not getting married there. They are great, your wedding will be fabulous.

We are having at least 40 people, and Painter's said they could only do a buffet in their back room for that many. I'd prefer a sit down.

I have spoken with The Oar (only a buffet), Meritage, Porter's, Avino's, Bellport Country Club, Sunset Harbor, and Harbor Crab.

Sunset Harbor seemed to have the best pricing, b/c their package includes beer, wine and soda. And passed hors d'oevres

FH lives in Patchogue and I agree with JennyAPH

Mangia Mangia and Harbor Crab are great options. Harbor Crab is right on the water too. We had FH's grandmothers 80th birthday party there a few yeras ago and it was so nice upstairs looking over the water.
