Rehearsal dinner invitations: when to send them?

When are you sending your rehearsal dinner invites? I don't want to send until we get all the RSVPs to know who to send them too. When are you sending yours?

I sent mine about 2 weeks ago.

But how do you do that before you even know who to invite? Not everyone has RSVPed yet.

We are sending them out the night our RSVPs are due (1 month before the wedding). We are only inviting those who are taking part in the ceremony in some way (readers, bridal party, etc) so we know they are coming!

We'll probably send ours out within the next couple of weeks. We already know who will be coming, don't have to wait for RSVPs. Just sending invites more as a formality.
