How did you or do you plan to tell your wedding party about the rehearsal dinner? We are trying to keep it to a minimum of the people involved directly with the wedding. Our wedding party, parents, grandparents, readers and possibly a few close out of towners.
Do you think it would be OK to put a small insert into the wedding party's wedding invitations telling them the time and place for the rehearsal and the dinner?
It eliminates another invitation going out in the mail or an evite that they may not get. I figure if I do it this way, the people that we NEED there will know about it and then I can extend just the dinner portion through an evite to the OTTs that we want to have at the dinner.
Thoughts, ideas?

no one is invited to the wedding unless they are in a serious relationship, married or engaged....in that case, their 'date' will be invited to the RD.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Invite Help
We did a separate invite to the RD. We ordered through vistaprint during their crazy cheap sales that the run so it wasn't expensive at all! You can also DYI them esp if you don't have a lot to send out.
