Rehearsal Dinner - New Hyde Park/Mineola Area

Hi Ladies,

Does anyone know of some good restaurants to have a rehearsal dinner in or near New Hyde Park, Mineola or even Garden City? We are doing our actual rehearsal at the Inn at NHP Friday July 9th and would like to go someplace nearby for dinner. Also it's not a must but I would love a place that has a private room available. We are having around 30-40 people.

Piccolo's is really good. My friend had their RD there and the food was really good.

umbertos of new hyde park!!! amazing pizza and food:) ps.. its basicaly right across the street from the inn... It might even have a private room!!

If it's the Piccolo's I'm thinking of - this place is great! Their chicken zangarella is to DIE for!

i was JUST going to say that! They do have a private room, upstairs. I'm actually looking into them for my RD. Also, the Lucky Duck in Garden City South AND the Davenport Printing Press in Mineola. You can also try Trinity's in Floral Park. Good luck! I live 3 blocks from the Inn at NHP so I know the area pretty well.

My cousin had hers at Papa Ciros. They have a nice private room in the back and the food is good.

Gina's on Jericho Tpk just redid their restaurant..they have a private room now and they are the nicest people ever

try Mother Kelleys in Cedahurst... they have a private room and the food is FANTASTIC! HTH!

We were originally looking into Jonathan's in Garden City, anyone have good/bad experiences?

I called to get pricing and it's very reasonable plus they have a private and semi-private room. However for our smaller group we would only be able to have the semi-private room and the last time my FH and I were there it was pretty noisy, so not sure if I love that, especially since it will be on a Friday night.

Thoughts?

yes had our christmas party there a couple years ago.. food was great and its a very nice place:)
