My wedding is on a Sunday.... Should the rehearsal dinner be on that Friday or Saturday? My wedding is all the way out east and 2 of my BM's are from Staten Island, my junior groomsmen and his parents are from NJ and one of the GM's is from the Bronx! I don't know whether they plan on booking rooms or making the trip twice... what do you think?
ETA: I am getting married at the reception hall....

I would probably have it on Saturday because most people will work on Friday and Friday night they could head your way. And they would be there in time for rehearsal and not have to call off work on Friday.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN A CHURCH YOU NEED TO SIT WITH PRIEST AND SEE WHAT DATE IS GOOD FOR HIM IF NOT I WOULD DO IT THURS OR FRI.

I am getting married on a Sunday and mine is on a Friday BUT no one is staying in a hotel or anything like that...If I were you I would have it on Saturday

You may want to find out if you can just do a rehearsal earlier in the day (on Sunday) since it's all the hall.
If not, I would do it Saturday night so people don't have to make the trip twice.

i think given their locations you should probably do it on a saturday... like someone said before me, people have work so friday would be tough.
did you decide on a location yet? is anyone staying at a hotel the night before? then you can do it by the hotel.......If they are not, maybe you should do it the week before on a saturday and find a restaurant that is centrally located.

Im in a similar situation and we chose to do it on saturday. Most of my BP chose to stay in a hotel that night.

I'm on a Sunday and we're doing our RD on a Friday. I just think I'll have 'wedding day' stuff to work on on Saturday...wanted that day free to myself.

My wedding is on a Sunday too and our rehearsal at the church on Friday. I really was hoping for Friday, so that Saturday could be a little more relaxing. We also didn't have an option of Saturday.
