Ha ha, I'm totally with you there... we're wrestling with this right now too and are watching the numbers grow and grow... suddenly we're having 100 people to our wedding and 50 to the rehearsal dinner! What?!?!?!
Wow that's a lot!! Lol

You don't even want to hear who I need to invite to my RD. My mother feels that all out of town guests should be invited.... needless to say it is going to be much larger than I would like.
I want just the bridal party and immediate family invited... oh well

Rehearsal dinner question
I'm obviously in the minority, but no. It's just not in the budget to pay for plus ones.
Of course, if the spouse accompanies them to the rehearsal I would not exclude them from the dinner.

Rehearsal dinner question
Yea, we're inviting spouses/significant others too, in addition to close family friends, family members, and out of town guests. We have closer to 60 now since some members from our bridal party started seeing people seriously, and asked if they can attend. I just wish our wedding was sooner so we don't have to spend anymore money :( lol
