Rehearsal invite wording...

I was wondering what wording you used or are going to use for the rehearsal invites, if you're sending them. I did a search and found one posted by stef28:

It's the night before the wedding.
All the planning is finally done.
There's time to spend with family and friends,
before the bride and groom become one.

Does anyone else have anything to share?

Thank you
Jen

Re: Rehearsal invite wording...

Here is the wording I used for my Rehersal Dinner Invite. I did them myself on the computer.

The night before they tie the knot
Please come for dinner and drinks
We’ll practice the ceremony
step by step, to iron out the kinks.

You’re Invited to a Rehearsal Dinner
in honor of
Bride and Groom

It isn't that creative but it's something. Good luck! If you need tips on how to do the invites yourself, please e-mail me at [email protected]

Happy Planning!

Re: Rehearsal invite wording...

Thanks ladies. I am creatively handicapped

I bought some stationary and matching envelopes already. I plan on including directions to the church and the restaurant too.

Happy Planning!

Re: Rehearsal invite wording...

Who gets invited to the RD? My FH & I thought it was only the bridal party, parents, and grandparents.

Re: Rehearsal invite wording...

Very cute Jenny! Thank you.

As far as invites, I will invite our immediate family (Grandma, brother, SIL) along with parents, and BP with their dates. That adds up to 31 people! Boy they add up fast. I know some people don't invite guests with the BP but, most of the BP is either married already, engaged or on the verge of being engaged.

I think in the end it depends on your budget and how well everyone knows eachother.

Happy planning.

Jen
