Rehersal dinner help!
Re: Rehersal dinner help!
There really is no actual rehearsal so the dinner more commonly is used to invite your bridal party and OOT guests.
Re: Rehersal dinner help!
I would say just the bridal party & people involved in the wedding, the only people that you should have other than those are out of town guests... But that's just me.
Re: Rehersal dinner help!
We had our bridal party with their guests and anyone involved in the ceremony. We had two readers and two people bringing up the gifts. We invited everyone with a guest. We did not invite out of town people, which my MIL was not happy about, but I felt strongly about it.
Re: Rehersal dinner help!
At the dinner we had our BP and their guests (if they had a gf/bf at the time) parents, brothers/sisters, grandparents, aunts & uncles and readers

We are having our BP along with their significant others, parents of the ring bearer (who aren't in the BP), people involved in the ceremony and a few others like my godparents.
Re: Rehersal dinner help!
Usually BP and close family. We are inviting all of our family or any OOT guest that might be here already b/c we are haveing a BBQ since our families have never met (after 8 years of being together). FH is from upstate so all of his family will be down the day before. It all depends on who you want to include!
Re: Rehersal dinner help!
We are just inviting those involved with our cermony. We have the BP with their dates, parents, grand parents and readers.

We're inviting our families, BP and our OOT guests. About 25 people. It can add up though so you can make it as big or as small as you want. One of FH's close friends only invited his best man and matron of honor over their house for pizza the night before (not really a RD!!). One of my friends is having hers at a place people get married at (the Irish Coffee Pub).
