Rehersal Dinner Restaurants in nassau

Ok so I new to the boards here and first time posting.

I am looking for a restaurant in nassau county for my RD. It will be for about 30 people, who most of the out of towners will be staying in garden city. So I do not want it to be too far from there. I do not want to pay a fortune per person, and would like a private room since there will be alot of us.

Suggestions of where you had your RD and if you remember the pricing per person

oh also we just had my friends shower at the private room at mcquades in lynbrook--not too far at all and the food is awesome.

I believe Novita in garden city is reasonably priced for their parties. Last time I was at Grimaldis in garden city there were great party packages. Not sure if they have a room, but might be able to section off an area.

My friend had hers at macarthur park in RVC....not sure the price per person. There are a lot of bars/restaurants over there to price and not too far from GC if thats where you are looking?

Yea alot of places in that area. Since it will be alot of OOT guests, don't want them to have to drive too far for dinner after traveling in that day. (Even though it's not that far...lol)

I don't know how far you are willing to drive in Nassau, but Sole in Oceanside has great food and a private room, their packages start at $25 per person. We were going to have our RD their but the private room was just a little small for us.
Also, Franks steaks in RVC has a private room that can hold up to 50 people and their food is delicious. We are having our RD there. Their basic dinner is $39 per person.

OOT guest are staying in garden city....so wanted to stay closer to that central nassau area.

Davenport Printing Press in Mineola. Had my bridal shower there and thought it was reasonably priced, not sure about a dinner though. Food and Service was great.
