I go to temple with my dad once a year

Church last time I was in church was when we booked our date for the wedding, and we were only in the rectory. The time before that was a funeral mass in 2001

I don't want to go to our temple b/c I'm mad at our Rabbi.
He wouldn't marry us b/c Dh is not Jewish. We were NOT having an interfaith wedding, just Jewish.

Fine, whatever. The secretary told me Mom this, and then told her to tell us that after we're married we can join the temple

I was pi$$ed

Then my grandparents passed away and he called to offer his condolences. My Dad told him how upset I was about the whole thing and he told him he was going to call me and invite me to Sabbath services to bless my marriage. I saw his number on the caller ID once, but no message. That was a year ago.

Every Yom Kippur after dad and I return home from temple mom, dad and I have a huge discussion about temple and church. What the differences are, prayers, rabbi's and priests, etc..

I feel I was a very well rounded in religion to grow up with a father who is jewish and a mother who is catholic. I have definatly learned a lot from both religions.

I took the quiz before posting to find out what I was and it said REFORM JUDIASM!!

Actually, I am Jewish. Sean is catholic and we are going to raise our children (god willing) with both religions.
