I am an open-minded Christian... meaning that I was raised Lutheran, spent most of my adolescence being agnostic, dabbled in Wicca for a while, can relate to a lot of what Buddhism stands for, but then recently knew that I was meant to be Christian. To get technical, I'm a born-again Christian (which I know makes people shudder...) but I was saved in a Pentacostal church, which is the best church experience I've had so far! (Even though I haven't gone in weeks... its so far away from my house, but I know that shouldn't be my excuse...) Everyone has different ways of being close to God, and I have found mine in my own way, and I feel better than I have in my whole life.

Anyway, just felt like contributing to this thread

Wicca is a pagan religion, technically witchcraft, but 'white magic'... so it's not anything bad or evil. Wiccans call themselves witches or wizards.... but it's a very earth-based religion, which worships the Goddess (Mother Earth...), and other deities. Wiccans hold rituals and spells and ceremonies. It's pretty complicated, but I like a lot of what the relgion is based on, because it basically honors the planet and all of the forces (energies) that make the earth function, in a manner of speaking! My aunt and uncle and practicing wiccans, have been for years. They're also two of the coolest people I know. If my aunt had been a believer I would have asked her to do a reading at my wedding. But since she is not, I won't.

I was raised Episcopalian and converted to Catholicism. The quiz said I was 100% Mainline to Liberal Protestant (interesting, since that what I was raised) and only 75% roman Catholic, which I converted to (even more interesting).

I was raised Baptist and Methodist...
but i am more of a Wiccan myself. I studied it heavily for awhile, but the rituals were too much for me to really practice. But I still believe in their philosphy. I think its more inspirational than christianity.

i'm catholic. i go to church as often as i can. we have a really nice church in our new neighborhood. FH is nothing. no religion, no deep belief in god. needless to say, pre-cana was interesting!!

Both DH and I are atheists...since childhood...neither of us were brought up with religion...except giving presents at or around 12/25...

Tammy...I would call your DH an agnostic...someone who is not sure...this is what I label my mother...
