I've been in love with Demetrios gowns forever and so going there was great. I worked with this woman who was so sweet and really listened to me. For the first time, I didn't get thrown into a strapless gown 'just to see'

Anywho...I really liked two VERY different gowns. I am NO WHERE near being finished looking for dresses, but I think I am narrowing my vision down.

I am torn between getting a very full skirt with a defined waist, or a more a-line and sleeker dress.

Here are photos of two that I really liked. They are both Demetrios. I can't really find the sleeker one on line. But I included one just like it (I tried this one on too) but it's fuller.

Lisa, I really like the lacy one and also the last one you tried with the bow. Who makes that dress (its a bit different than the pic you posted above it).

Also where did you go to try these dresses on? I'm surprised they let you take pics in their dresses.

Thanks Girlies!

I was busy with my MOH's Shower so I didn't see them till now.

To answer some of the questions - some of the places have let me take a pic on my camera phone, others have conviently answered the telephone or something....we are sneaks.

Whoever said something about my waist... yeah, for some reason, when my waist is actually defined, it looks smaller. So I am amending my search for something like that.

And thanks to the person who gave me that one pic... I really like it.

Tonight.....I am heading to another place, another tomorrow night and then one more on Friday..........aaaghhhhh! I shall find it.

Ok...here is the blurry pic of me in the bridesmaid dress...

I really like that 3rd dress...it seems to combine the lace, which is beautiful, with the figure flattering, waist-nipping ball skirt...and I completely agree with the other ladies....strapless looks great on you!!! but do what you are most comfortable with.

love the BM dresses- they really are perfect for you theme!

your quest seems to be coming to an end for you...I think your Holy Grail is in sight!!!

i definitely do not want strapless....but i did simply love the one i tried on - but for my wedding, i want something....

Thanks - I just edited above but I called RK Bridal and it's only $130 bucks there. And it was $180 in the store I saw it in. Ok...this dress is going to be hard to beat! Tho I am not ready to have the girls purchase them, I am so happy that's it's not expensive. Better show FH.

That is a GREAT price!!! Can't complain about that...If you are not 100% sold, keep looking

Just kidding. I tried on a bunch tonight. REALLY loved this one but it was strapless. Darn. No pics.

The 3/4 sleeved one from page one is starting to look better and better......

I'll be going to another place tomorrow night!

i know. i tried on a SILK gown last night and it was strapless (reminded me of yours). AMAZING! Silk is sooooo wonderful!

But i don't want strapless. I am very critical of my arms and I am nervous that I'll look back at the pics and be upset. I just can't do it.
