Me! FH and I agree we don't want any smoke machines or giveaways. DJ, Music and a few (emphasis on the FEW) lights.

We're not doing this either. We felt it was too cheesy. It's a wedding not a sweet sixteen or bat mitzvah.

This is the one thing that FMIL really wanted, and she can have it.. They are free, and people actually do like it..

at my shower, to giveaway some gift, ive decided to do a giveway game

you make this whole story and in the story there are the words 'left, right, across, etc' all directionals

as you tell the story, the person holding the gift passes it as the directions are said aloud

it was fun and i played it at a x-mas party once

anyways- back to the actual topic...FH wants the giveaways so ill let him get that

IMO...i hate the cheesy sunglasses, blow-up musical instuments, lei's...give aways free or not

We gave away roses...

I dont think it makes a difference if you do or not, most people like them, its just away of getting people on the dance floor and FH and I said hey why not its free

I am not crazy about give-aways either. We just had our E-party w/ a DJ and didn't do giveaways. BUT i love the idea that someone posted about giving out roses. that is so classy. You should consider that!

I recently went to a wedding where they had give aways and I kind of felt like I was at a Sweet Sixteen. It was kind of fun though. We are not getting them though. JMO
